It’s time for everyone’s favorite post where we look towards the month ahead and it’s time to do that with the March 2016 new Netflix releases scheduled to hit throughout the month.

After a relatively quiet first couple months of 2016 things seem to be really heating up in terms of Netflix Originals at least with March being the month of two massive releases on Netflix in the form of season 4 of House of Cards and season 2 of Daredevil.

Also before you get a glimpse as to what’s coming to Netflix, you may want to take a look at our expanding list of titles that are scheduled to leave Netflix in March ensuring that you’re not left disappointed when something suddenly leaves your queue.

March 2016 Highlights

TV Series

TV Highlights - March 2016 on Netflix

We’d be foolish not to start the TV series highlights without mentioning the two big hitting Netflix Originals set to be added during March. First up, we’re back into the election season with Frank Underwood. House of Cards left us with a lot of unanswered questions last season and hopefully they’ll be addressed in what’s sure to be the best series yet for the political drama.

Secondly, we’re returning for the first time in 2016 to Hell’s Kitchen. Daredevil now all suited, booted and his secret out there, will have to step things up if he’s to rid the city of a new evil much more formidable than the last.

Third-party Netflix highlights includes the incredibly funny Fox show, Louie. The show follows Louis C.K around his day to day life generally showing how he screws things up.

Movies

Movie Highlights - March 2016 on Netflix

Our first highlight is in the form of a comeback for Paul Reuben who will be reprising his well-known role as Pee-wee for a brand new adventure, exclusive to Netflix. He’s setting off on a holiday of a lifetime and one thing is for certain, he’ll be getting up to all kinds of mischief in Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday.

March 1st is the best day for picking a new movie to watch. Two of the spin off American Pie movies that while aren’t as good as those with the original cast in it, still provide enough solid coming of age comedy to suffice a watch. Groundhog Day starring Bill Murray returns on March 1st after it went absent over February, go figure. We’ve also got some new Star Trek content too.
