House of Cards is not only a Netflix favorite, but an overall favorite. The series has a 9 out of 10 rating on IMDb, and comparable ratings on most other entertainment rating sites. House of Cards has one various awards, from the Golden Globes to the Emmys. The show has been nominated for over 50 awards, and has won over half of the nominations.

The show stars Kevin Spacey as U.S. Rep. Francis Underwood of South Carolina. Underwood starts out as a cutthroat politician who is seeking revenge on other people in similar working positions. Underwood was promised the position of Secretary of State by a man wanting to be president, as long as Underwood gave his full support, but the man changes his deal unexpectedly right before inauguration. Underwood goes with the flow with his wife, but both end up seeking revenge for the twist the presidential candidate made last minute. Both Underwood and his wife declare that they will bring the potential president down, and destroy his allies as they do.

The political show is not only politics, but can interest anyone with the drama, and violence that some along with the show.

House of Cards deserves the #1 spot for a series on Netflix, and we completely agree with these ratings. Following behind House of Cards, Orange is the New Black took #2, and Arrested Development took #3. The full list of the top 10 shows was incredible, and we do not disagree at all.
