Many are talking about the Leaving Netflix – January 2016 list, because there is a chunk of good content leaving. Yes, the Rocky films are being taken off of Netflix this January.

The Rocky films have been present on Netflix for some time now, but have also been a hit, which is why people are questioning, “Why are the Rocky films being taken off of Netflix?” Well, we do not have a real answer, but can only think that the films are just taking a short break from Netflix. The content could be taken away from Netflix to hype up the media, and eventually have a grand returning entrance.

If you are unfamiliar of the Rocky films, you are missing out on classics. The film stars Rocky Balboa, who is played by Sylvester Stallone. Rocky is a small-time boxer from the middle class who is constantly working hard to make ends meet. Rocky is chosen to take on the heavyweight champion, Apollo Creed, but his scheduled opponent gets injured. Rocky shows some great fights, but also falls in love.

On January 1st, all Rocky films on Netflix (Rocky (1976), Rocky II (1979), Rocky III (1982), Rocky IV (1985), Rocky V (1990)) will be removed from the Netflix site.
